» COURT OF HONOR - AUGUST 31ST

The Troop will be holding a COURT OF HONOR on Monday August 31st at 7:30 p.m. to recognize Scouts for there achievements since the Court of Honor in February.  A number of Rank Advancements will be awarded as well as Merit Badges.  All Parents are encouraged to attend with their Scouts, as Advancement Recognition is important in the their continued efforts to work towards their Eagle Scout Rank.

» Scout Leader Training - September 2nd
Scoutmaster Position-Specific Training will be held at 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.  The location will be determined by the number of Leaders registered.
» Flag Ceremony - Ada High Football Game - September 4th
We will be providing the flag ceremony for the Ada High School Football Game.  Scouts need to be at the ECU Tiger Stadium in Class A uniform by 7:00 p.m.  Enter through the North Gate that is about even with the north Goal Post.
» Labor Day - No Scout Meeting
There will not be a Scout meeting on Labor Day, September 7th.  Our next regular meeting will be on September 14th.  We will be starting the Communications Merit Badge then and will have other activities for older Scouts.

Welcome to Troop 4!
Troop 4 meets at the First Christian Church located at 101 E. 13th Street, Ada, Oklahoma. The Church is located at the corner of E. 13th St. and S. Broadway. Scouts should enter the Church through the northwest entrance ( just south of the flagpole ), the Scout Hall is located on the fourth floor of the Church, just follow the stairs all the way to the top.
Meeting Times
Troop meetings are held on Monday evenings from 7:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. during the school year. Please check the Troop Calendar for dates when meetings will not be held as well as for special event dates.
Advancement and Activities for your Scout now available on-line!
The Troop has added Troopmaster Web to our advancement recordkeeping system which will allow you to view your son's advancement records, including Merit Badges completed and in-progress, Troop activities he has participated in, Camping trips he took part in, and his progress towards his next Rank.  You will need his user name and password to access this system.  If he did not receive his log-in information at the Fall 2014 Court of Honor, please have him ask for it at the next troop meeting.  To access the system you or he will need to log-in at www.troopmasterweb.com/adatroop4 and enter his user name and password.  A link has been provided to Troopmaster Web in the Links tab above.  If you have trouble logging in please contact us and we will check on your log-in info.
New Troopmaster Mobile Phone "App" Available!
Troopmaster Mobile is now available to make access to a Scout's advancement information easier than ever.  Please contact us and we will get the info to you to get you started with this "app".  With this easy to use app you will always know where you are on your rank requirements to advance,
Interested in Scouting?

If you or someone you know is interested in joining the Boy Scouts or are curious about what Boy Scouts has to offer we encourage you to visit a Scout meeting where we will be happy to answer any questions you might have about Scouting and Troop 4. You are also welcome to contact any of the Troop leaders listed under the Contacts tab and they will be happy to answer your questions and provide information about Troop 4's program.

Christmas Wreath Fundraiser - September 29th to October 26th, 2015
The Troop is selling Christmas Wreaths and related products for its fall fundraiser again this year.  These are handcrafted wreaths made with fir and other evergreens here in the United States.  Delivery of the items ordered will be made beginning on about November 30th  Gift orders that can be shipped directly to the recipient are also being accepted.  If you have not been contacted by one of our Scouts and are interested in ordering, please contact one of the Scout Leaders listed in the Contacts Section and we will have a Scout contact you.  Thanks.

Adult Scout Leader Training - Fall 2015
Troop 4 will be offering two adult scout leader training courses this fall.  Both of these courses are designed for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters.  The first course "Scoutmaster Position-Specific Training" will be offered in three parts on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm on September 2nd, September 16th and September 30th.  Registration forms for this course are being distributed by the Council and District and are also available on this website under the Forms Tab in the Adult Training section,  The second course is the "Introduction to Outdoor Leadership Skills" course and is scheduled for the Troop's campout on October 17th & 18th.  This course is a companion course to the "Scoutmaster Position-Specific Training" course.  The two courses along with Youth Protection Training are needed to be considered fully trained.  These courses are necessary for those adults planning to register for the Wood Badge course that will be held in the Spring of 2016.
